Important Update for Hapco Members: Temporary Stay on Evictions in Philadelphia
On July 7, 2025, the First Judicial District of Pennsylvania issued Administrative Order No. 7 of 2025, which temporarily stays all evictions and ejectments scheduled in the Court of Common Pleas and Municipal Court for a two-week period beginning on July 7, 2025.
The Sheriff of Philadelphia County requested this stay and will be contacting parties involved to reschedule any evictions or ejectments originally set during this time.
This temporary stay may be extended depending on the status of the ongoing AFSCME District Council 33 strike.
