HAPCO Philadelphia has warned Philadelphia City Council that they are decimating the ranks of affordable rental housing owners with taxes, fees, costs, and over-regulation.

And now to our amazement, Council progressive Jamie Gauthier suddenly proclaims that the city’s affordable housing is at risk.

HP would love to see that same level of concern directed at the independent, Mom and Pop rental property owners who supply the majority of low-to-moderate-income housing in Philly.
